A smelly experience, but taking in some impressive rock. The big diagonal rift on the right-hand side of the cliff is climbed via its slabby right-hand wall until it is possible to escape away to the right and reach vegetated scrambling. At certain times of the year, breathing in the depths of the chimney is difficult. In the summer the top undergrowth can be difficult to get around.

Did this on Saturday (early July). The exit to the top of the crag is very overgrown with ivy/nettles/brambles; it appeared that another party had retreated by abseiling off some ivy rather than risk the undergrowth. Probably best avoided in summer...
