An 80s mega classic. Pull on to the ramp, then head up to the jug. Extending it leftwards from here, to the ladder, is V8. Two sit-down starts are possible, from the right is the best at a harder V7 (to the jug). From the left is V10.

since when has it been V7 to the supposed jug (more like an edge) - it has always finished at the jug out left. And I though it was V7 from standing (maybe V8) and V8 from sitting.. This is confusing

Its about V3/4 to the Rockfax "jug". And only two moves. The crux is still to come, moving left to the finishing jug below the ladder. You only need to tried (or even seen!) the problem to know this much, I really can't figure out what they mean???? V7 stand up, V8 sitter.

Extending this leftwards was the original route of "Hot Air" which finished at the Bowderiser - this is even in the 2000 Borrowdale guide

I'd be interested to know what people thought about the LH sitter’s grade? The 7c+ (V10) tag seems to have stuck for a while now, but having done it on a few separate occasions I definitely feel this is no harder than 7b+ (V8/9), but maybe it just suits my body shape?
