14m. Climb the short awkward chimney (avoidable on the right) to a platform then bridge the wide upper section.

HVD/S if you do the initial (unprotected) short chimney. VD otherwise. A very nice route!

this route is hard to find in most guidebooks - the line of the route not actually shown and v difficult to work out where among the jumble of buttresses and cracks the route goes. A shame, because when you find it its a brilliant little route which deserves two stars.

The line is clearly shown on p147 so I am not sure what the last post was saying?

we had the millenium edition of Yorkshire gritstone we shows a number for the route on the crag diagram but no route line +A.N other (admittedly this last was 1974 and mentioned a now non-existant holly), both of us pored over both books but were scratching our heads somewhat. Anyway, its a lovely route! assuming that is what we climbed in the end...
