A thin crux with a split pocket gives a terrific test-piece.

Quality steep route that even weaklings like myself can jump up!
ben - 07/Mar/00

I agree with Ben - A really cool hard route that you CAN do....!!
John - 08/Mar/00

Those who do plenty of bouldering should not find it that hard (nothing more than english 6b anyway!) A friend of mine who does more routes than bouldering thinks it's desperate!
Ben Stokes - 09/Mar/00

A doss... only 7b
JIMBO - 18/Mar/00

Jim's got it right
DOD - 19/Mar/00

Found it hard, but not desperate. 7b+ is right with me
FredMead - 13/Aug/05

Very good moves. Hard 7b+ Better to get Vulcan hold with right and come into undercut tuffa with left.
Adam Lincoln - 13/Nov/05

No way Adam! Its much better and much easier to get the Vulcan hold with the left and then go out right to the sidepulls...
FredMead - 17/Dec/05

Yeah, if your weak! ;-)
Its not as good a move.
Adam Lincoln - 19/Dec/05

Haha, weak, yeah guess your right there actually! No I think the moves out right are better and more powerful...
FredMead - 20/Dec/05

I broke the left-hand post-crux flowstone jug - a sharp crimp remains. Slightly harder though no increase in grade IMHO.
Ben Stokes - 08/Dec/08

re-assended today
wasent much different just less of a heel hook to sit on for the top moves other wise pretty much the same
peter - 04/Jan/09

I loved this route. Left hand to the 'vulcan' hold. As per above comments will feel easier for boulderers but felt it was fair at the grade.
