The slim groove gives a sustained and demanding pitch with a hard initial 3m.

I found the start difficult and had a great time getting the first runner in.

first hold sharp? shiny more like... i tried about 5 different start positions but the first would be best (with a long reach) but i slid right back off every time. i hate failure - bad mood.

Not bad, the start is probably the hardest part, there's a nice little flake on the bottom right, easily spotted from all the chalk, brace on the right foot, get a bit higher and there are quite a few positive crimpy grips for the left allowing you the leverage to then reach up with the right to the nice obvious flake at the top, haul up, clip in and then simply climb to the top :) Not a particularly pleasant climb though.

I saw a group form a human pyramid to reach the first bolt, so I'm guessing the first move was the hardest! Thanks for the tip Andy.
Tim - 21/May/07

A badly bolted route. You will deck if you mess up the second clip.
