The short upper arete has some unusual moves utilising some stuck-on finger flakes on the very edge of the arete.
Didn't feel run out to me. Good moves on stuck on finger flakers on the very lip of the arete.
Gave this a try today and all was going well...until I heard the sound of sliding rock and felt the pressure beneath my right foot diminish. I looked down in time to see a large slab of rock land next to my belayer with an almighty thud. Had it of been 40-50cm to the left no helmet would have saved Jim (and consequently no belayer would have had me!). I'm not sure if the slab above the new void is that safe either...
Defintely looks like the whole top half of the route is ready to come down any minute...
Climbed this yesterday.....didn't seem to be anything loose at all...maybe a bit runout to the second bolt but very nice moves when on the arete
