The crack in the slab, trending left where it finishes. Packs a punch for its diminutive size and requires confident foot-work.

Quite a pleasant solo as long as you don't get your foot stuck.

Nice for beginners but it's all over too fast

surely not a HVD! compare to Prow Cracks (VD) OR or Prow Corner (VD)nearby on Chalkstone Area and surely Capt L is no more than Diff. The climber before me thought Mod to Diff.

Pretty green and slimey, mind you it had been raining for the entire day the day before!
Not a great route, hardly really worth racking up for. Your better off doing the other lines to the left (prow crack and prw corner)
Fuzzy - 15/Aug/05

i agree nice climb but never a HVD! Diff maybe. too short!!
comeclimbwithme2 - 08/Jan/06

Agree, no more than Diff. It's at least a grade easier than all the other VDiffs hereabouts.
Simon Caldwell - 06/Nov/06

This is definitely more like a Diff. There is gear every 4 inches and big steps all the way up the crack!
