The other great classic of the crag. Climb the pillar and a short pocket-wall to the break and some rounded spike runners. Traverse out left into ever-more exposed terrain then make a tricky move (elusive finger holds) to easy ground. Perhaps only HVS 5a for those used to the vagaries of sandstone.

Not HVS 5a. Not too hard for 5b but quite bold, committing and a bit exposed. More importantly another continually interesting classic.

Heavy rain can make the finish sandy and trouser-filling!

Yup, a great route but shouldn't be given HVS due to the gear/nature of the rock etc....could turn nasty if underestimated. A great experience nonetheless!
