The traverse of the pond is a classic pumpy problem. It is best done right to left if you have any doubts about your stamina although the pros will, of course, reverse it. <br/>It can be extended round the whole section out to Hernia at about V5.

Crux seemed to be near the pool but a good workout once you're warmed up to get that primary pump!

Absolutely recommended when the pool is full! And reversing it is mandatory - you're missing out on half the fun (the pumpiest half!) if you don't.
