This is the wall overlooking Cleft Buttress with a conspicuous kinked crack in it. The bolts that supported the ancient NO CLIMBING sign can still be seen to the left of the wide crack.
Approach (see map on page 139)The shortest approach is to follow the road to Brimham House then head down the broad valley until opposite Cleft Buttress.

Notice Board Crack
12m. The kinked crack is an ancient and awkward classic. Traditionally graded VS, it's nearer HS with a suitably large cam.
