The most impressive piece of rock at Frodsham is the Great Wall. Perched high above a steep slope, the routes here are imposing undertakings and are only soloed by the terminally confident. Although bouldering grades have been used in the past E-grades reflect the situation much more realistically. Bring a rope and a rack. The first routes are on the diminutive beak of St.Stephen's Buttress, 100m beyond the Great Wall.

Tom's Roof
The lower wall leads directly to the huge triangular roof that caps the wall. Cross this with conviction - tough at the grade.
