MOUGHTON NAB

Moughton Nab is an exposed escarpment that has a good selection of lower and mid-grade sport climbs along its length. Below the cliff-line is a massive active quarry which, although noisy during the week does not really spoil the views out over Pen-y-ghent and beyond. Although some trad climbs have been put up here in the past, it is the bolted lines that have made Moughton Nab increasingly popular in recent times.
