LES MOTTETS

These three straightforward but long routes provide an opportunity to cover some ground, get used to moving together or simply make the most of a murky day in the valley. Theye are best when dry but can be climbed in the wet if you're feeling confident. They are fully bolted so you just need quickdraws.
For Voie Caline and Voie Princesse, continue on the track as it doubles back right. Zigzag up here for around 1.8km as the track turns into a path, by which time it is much thinner and more of a path than a jeep track. Eventually it leads to a distinctive tree which is stuck in the ground at both ends, making a natural arch about 1m high. There is also a sign for both routes. Voie Princesse starts here, 5m downhill from the tree. For Voie Caline continue for 50m and turn right at a sign on a tree. A path with metal cables and steps leads to the foot of the route in 5 minutes.
