WALLOWBARROW CRAG

Wallowbarrow Crag sits in a magnificent position overlooking the Duddon Valley. The range and style of routes on offer combined with easy access means that this is where many climbers experience their first taste of Lakeland cragging. Most routes are in the friendly grades and many are mutli-pitch. The rock quality and protection are good and most of the stances large, giving the cliff a not too serious feel. With camping, accommodation and an excellent pub within easy walking distance, Wallowbarrow is a fine place to plan a weekend away at any time of the year.
