I might be imagining this, but want there a set of old rusty train wheels amongst the boulders? The challenge being to power lift them above your head!

Sure there was an old bouldering video with it on. Can not find anything on the net about it.

Anyone else remember this?

Yes, there used to be a few old mine cart axles lying around near the back of the boulders. I expect they're still there somewhere since they're too rusty to be useful and too heavy to carry far. I remember a photo of someone (Paul Higginson maybe) with one pressed out overhead.

Edit: Stick it is correct

That’s a damp Friday evening viewing sorted. I should have known, but not watched for so long.

HTTP.BLOC was the other classic 😁

Unfortunately theres not any/many that are left intact ie with both wheels,  I suspect lots of climbers started trying to lift them and subsequently dropped them and broke them. I remember seeing some full ones in 2010 but none this year.

Look up the history of the very early sports routeAxle Attack (7a+) at Pen Trwyn for more axle action!
