Hi all. There’s a crow’s nest with chicks towards the top of Clowning/Cathy’s Clown (saw a crow go into a crevice there and heard the chicks). There’s also a kestrel’s nest in the gully to the right of Liquid Courage. I’m not so worried about the kestrel, but I’m worried the crow mother won’t come in to feed the chicks if we keep climbing on that route.
Lots of climbers today ignored the fact that there’s a nest up there right on the route, which makes me pretty sad. We don’t have a right to disrupt nesting birds for the sake of our sport.
Let me know if I should let the BMC know or anyone else.
thanks
