It’s seems the BMC currently aren’t doing travel climbing insurance. Does anyone have any recommendations on other insurance companies that offer Sport/Trad climbing insurance for Europe. The BMC website has a link to a company but they seem expensive.

My BMC insurance from a couple of weeks ago came with a "Terms of Business" information document from PJ Hayman, which is the same insurer the BMC are currently recommending on their page:

> If you are travelling soon and require Travel Insurance cover then you can visit specialist Travel insurer PJ Hayman https://quote.adventurescover.co.uk/trip-details, who have a selection of suitable products.

So I would probably start there as it's likely to be exactly the same. Might be worth ringing either the BMC office or PJ Hayman and working out whether you're entitled to a discount as a BMC member that would otherwise have been applied when ordering via the BMC website.

Always found Dogtag to be generally good and a reasonable price.
