Hi all,

After sailing down the European coast from Shetland, we recently arrived on Gran Canaria and are looking to experience some of the great climbing here.

We have tried book shops for a climbing guide but apparently it does not exist. The local bouldering gym directed us to the Vertical Life App for topos, however there don't appear to be any. Searching on 8a.nu also proved futile. 

Does anyone know where we can access topos for the island? Is there anyone on UKC currently on Gran Canaria??

Looks like 27crags might be your best bet

Seems to have most of the crags that are in my guidebook, which I assume might now be out of print or superseded by 27crags.

Hola Joe! Yeah I have been living here in Gran Canaria for a few years and go climbing every week. I have all the guides, happy to share them. 
 

thecrag is probably the best resource online but doesn’t have all the crags. 
 

are you based in Las Palmas now?

I’m also a sailor. Would be good to connect.

Hola Jim! Ah that's so cool, would be great to meet up! We are at anchor in Las Palmas harbour justnow, and will be on the island for probably the next 3 weeks. Heading to the south of the island at the weekend. 

Are you free/climbing over the next few days?
