Hi. We have a trip arranged to Leonidio in the autumn, and we are unsure which hire car company to use.  Anyone have a recommendation or a red flag for a company not to use.

Used Centauro from Athens last October. Very very cheap (£80 for 10 days) for a Toyota Aygo and no issues at all.

Only thing is they're off site from the airport but they run a transfer. Just make sure you factor it in time wise.

Worth pointing out that even the ‘on site’ companies are quite a long jog from arrivals. Exit the terminal, turn them keep going. Best stay on the right hand footpath or you’ll get tangled up in the loop road, flyovers etc

Auto Union. The van to the rental takes about 10 minutes, the car pick up was super fast was about 15 minutes. We rented twice thje first car had 5,000km. and we changed our drop off to in town Athens with no extra charge, The second car had 50,000 km.

We had great service from Athens Car Rental.  Good communication.  Met us at the airport on the front and back end.  Great price.

Have used Carwiz and Greenmotion both without any issues. Both off site and a good fair price.

Just follow common sense rules like always when hiring a car.
