Could anyone please report on current conditions at Kilnsey, specifically The Diedre (E2 5b) or Central Wall (E4 6a)? Neither route has been logged recently, and I don't know if they're wet or overgrown at the moment.
It's a bit of a trek for me to get there, and there's not much else for me to do if they're not in condition.
There was some pretty heavy rain showers at Kilnsey today. The Diedre had water literally running all the way down. Central wall was wet with quite a bit of run off so looked unclimbable today. It looked from the floor like there was an insitu wire and a peg at the crux both with quickdraws attached so I don’t know if someone had bailed there??
Many of the sports routes were dry though and the conditions were pretty good.
