Anyone recommends any places in Europe for sport climbing where you can easily get and operate without a car. (It would be around April). Looking for anything where you can easily travel from an airport and then the crags are in a walking distance.

El Chorro and Kalymnos are most obvious answers to this question but I’m sure there will be other suggestions.

Chamonix. There are regular minibus services from Geneva airport and there is a free shuttle bus that runs up the valley.

Chamonix works well car-fee, but April is probably too early for sport climbing unless you want to stay in the bottom of the valley

Majorca? Did a couple of car free trips to Sa Gubia many years ago. But we were young and skint and bivvied in the gorge

If you don't mind walking 30-40 mins a lot of the climbing in Margalefs San Salvador valley is accessible. The walk to the crags around the dam/reservoir has shade in the morning but this takes over an hour to get to the bottom of most of the crags.Ive done both walks quite a few  times.A car is better but it's not impossible without.Siurana campground is the best but with no car you have to either catch a taxi from Reus or arrange a taxi from Cornudella de Montsant before you arrive (by bus from Reus).Tricky but doable.Once at the campground it's easy getting to the crags.

Geyikbayiri is doable without a car, we went around Christmas around 8 years ago and the weather was great.

Orgon - fly to Marseille, short train ride to the Orgon, campsite in the center of the climbing, all walking.

La Turbie, fly into nice bus up and stay there ...

St Jeannet: fly to Nice, walk ~2km to St Laurent Du Var, bus up to the village. Can be combined with a stock up at the Intermarché en route.

Single and multipitch crag, above a beautiful village with excellent bakery, great views down to the coast.

Saint Jeannet
