Hi, I've camped in a field near the tea room in the past. This weekend this was empty of tents but full of cattle; but the field next to the tearoom was full of bell tents. Anyone any idea if the farm is still doing public camping, and which field; or of an alternative - I'd ideally like to be able to walk to the climbing as the parking can get full. Thanks

I believe the minimalist camping was discontinued a couple of years ago, possibly due to illness/age/infirmity (I'm happy to be corrected). The bell tents seem to be a summer activity camp for kids (been going for a couple of years). The nearest accommodation might be the Roaches Bunkhouse (if it still exists). Or your car/van....#van life or #wildcamping!! 

we stayed at the hollies site just down the road. £20 for the van per night.

Is it no longer possible to camp just below Hen Cloud? There used to be a big campsite there … well, a field one could use.

there were a few tents in the field opposite the Tea room last week, dont know who you pay though.
