Hi, I'm after a bit of advice. I'm off to the Slovakian side of the Tatra mountains from the 15th of June when the national park opens it's trails. I'm aware the mountain routes require UIAA membership without a guide and I'm all covered on that front so I'll keep my question specific.
I'm hoping to bag myself a few summits on scrambling/easy climbs but wondered what the snow conditions might be like for mid June. I'm looking at routes on the south and western faces but I'm wondering if the axe/crampons might be something I need or if most of the snow might have gone by then. Thanks for any help.
