Looking at getting a pair of B3's for this winter and hopefully some stuff in the alps this summer. Currently using Scarpa SL actives year round and I was wondering which boots would fit fairly similar to this?
Ideally looking for something with a fairly square toe box and comfy.
I'd like to order a few to try on but given I'm a broke climber don't want to splash out on 10 pairs even if i am gonna send most back straight away
Scarpa use names for their lasts, so check the last for your current boots and see? I bought my current B3 Mont Blancs because they had the same last (NAG) as my well fitting B2 Triolet.
I’ve used sl’s for years. I’ve found Nepal extremes also fit me but I do find the soles very unforgiving on the balls of my feet although most people I know with these boots don’t have this issue.
I also found freney’s and cumbres fitted so I suspect Mont blancs will also. You may want to consider getting B2. More comfort and fine up to around UK grade V or so. B3 definitely take a greater toll on my feet.
