Off to chamonix in March.
Are bunk houses fairly easy to get in or should one prebook?
Past experience was that there's plenty of spaces and just call around when there but not sure if changed.
March is prime ski touring season, bunk houses might be busy with people starting / ending the Haute Route or doing day tours etc. Worth an email to check I'd say.
