I’ve got a Wahl massager. It works fine for me. I guess you got better ergonomics /handling with the expensive ones - the Wahl is quite clunky and heavy. But it’s certainly adequate. Edit - it was this one:
I got a £40 o from amazon, thinking it's the same price as a physio session. If I use it a few times, it's paid for itself. Turned out to be very good value for money! I now have a cheap physio at home that I can use whenever need it. No appointments, no more splashing the cash. £40 gamble pays off!
