I'm looking at getting a new to me slightly bigger van, about the size of a Peugeot Expert. For use as a daily runabout and climbing/adventure/day van.

There seems to be a lot of this size van as wheelchair accessible vehicles with ramps for sale. For a good price and very good condition. Is this a good idea? Or am I missing something?

In reply to tew:

Insurance always asks if vehicle has been modified, best check with them before purchase to avoid premium shocks.

Spare wheel storage probably lost. Think where you will secure one inside the cab or risk just having a tin of tyre sealant.

Possible compromised ground clearance .

Otherwise some good deals on lightly used vehicles.

Compromised ground clearance would be my main concern.
