Hello,

Is there any geologists out there who know or could direct me towards a source where I could find out about the geology and formation of the sandstone of the Reiff sea cliffs? I have looked on the web but struggling to narrow it down.

Thanks,

Anna.

In reply to Anna G: I thought this was useful as it also has a cartoon of the depositional enviroment https://earthwise.bgs.ac.uk/index.php/Torridonian,_Northern_Highlands_of_Sc... , but nice to get help from an expert, which I am far from

Map 101w has the benifit of cross sections which geoindex doesn't show. If you find the associated sheet description / sheet memiour it should have a fairly accessible summary of the formation.
