Hi everyone,

There was a discussion on here in 2003 regarding the HTV Wales programme "On the Edge" narrated by Jim Perrin. A couple of people said that they had recorded it and i was just wondering if these copies still existed. I would love to see it for some research that i'm doing. The original Forum link is below. Thanks.

Wlle there is good news and bad news.

I have a handwritten video label that says "On the Edge". Unfortunately it has fallen off the video that it belongs to and I appear to have at least 20 other videos with the same problem

In reply to McThomas:

You could try the man himself, perhaps - he’s very active on Facebook.

No sign of it on youtube - shame.

Mr Messy might be mixing it up with "The Edge", the BBC series on a 100 years of Scottish climbing, first shown in the early 90s. That is all on YouTube thanks to Ron Walker, sometimes of this parish, who converted VHS into digital. Any winter climber will surely love the last and best episode https://youtu.be/9Uw-wsU0xMw?si=Tr1AGKn_x6Th1pgy with Cubby cruising Mega Route X and Ettle's (reputedly completely unnecessary but still mega cool) ice axe handle jam on White Magic.
