A caution to anyone climbing on the Puig. Do not park on the helipad at the start of the ascent track, on the right as you approach from Finestrat. Park on the left, 50m sooner. It is not obvious it is a helipad at present, as the windsock sleeve is missing, it's gravel, the no parking sign is at the far end the pad, and there is no big H. Your car will be towed away by the police if you park here.
It quite spoiled the day of a party yesterday, who retreated after the Direct Start of Espolon Central, to try to remove their car before the police did. If anyone in the party is reading this, I'd be interested to know if you succeeded!
