Thinking of heading to Witches Point soon. The Crag Info mentions it's tidal.

Anyone know how tidal? Can you climb at high tide? Or do you need to get out before that happens?

So from the car park, looking at the crag from left to right (where the right is the tip pointing out to the sea) the far right of the crag is tidal sorta.  If you're on the 'Stone Wings Cliff' area or 'Dunraven cliff' then you won't have to worry too much about the tide.  However you do get cut off from the car park, for about 1.5 to 2 hours (depending on the height of tide) either side of high tide.  If you're right on the tip, then you can get cut off.  You've got about 2 hours either side of low water on the cave area by the tip.

If there are people in the car park then tell them you know you'll get cut off and you're fine with that.  Otherwise the might call out the RNLI.  However random folk might do that for you as well, this has happened to me.

If it's your first visit get out. It's not going to be dry for a while anyway. Once acquainted with the crag there are escape option via tufa terrace and witches cave but not suitable if you have dogs, kids or non climbers in the team. Tides vary so sometimes high tide halts climbing. Best to wait until summer so you can forewarn the lifeguards if you are going for the " castaways " option or you might get needles attention from rescue services.

If that's a possibility it might also be a good idea to give the Milford Haven Coastguard a call to let them know what your plans are - their phone number is 0344 382 0575.  They'd probably ask that you call them again when you're finished to let them know that you're clear.
