Good morning. I asked this a while ago, got a great recommendation, but this service is now about to start charging, so, please could I have your recommendations for (free) training timers. Many thanks.

I use this one - INTERVAL TIMER - which suits my needs. I've not delved too deep with its functionality so it might not be what you're looking for but it was fine for when I needed it:

I like 'Tabata timer'

'mirror timer basic' is also pretty handy. 

I use Exercise Timer on Android. Pretty simple to set up and does everything I need from it

Not what you asked for, but I find using a phone app to be a royal pain to use when exercising.

Instead I have a Gymboss timer that I can attach to my arm with a strap. Other brands are available.
