I'm looking to take two scramblers somewhere where I can teach them to belay a toprope and maybe on to lead belay.

Is there anywhere at Symonds Yat you'd recommend where:

a) I can get a good toprope

b) The climbing is easy 

c) I'm not going to annoy anyone by being there for a few hours.

I could just send them indoors to a climbing centre course but outdoors would be more fun for everyone involved. 

I'd recommend  Plump Hill Quarry.

Easy to walk around to the top to set up a top rope, climbing is easy. The corner route is good for teaching people to lead climb trad
