would be interested to know how that works out as an exact shift pattern as would be great if my employer could do something similar
We accidentally looked at the wrong column in our spreadsheet and put in the take home pay (post tax, pensions etc) instead of the gross figure.
We also chose to put in a range rather than an exact figure but it turns out that we didn't really think about where the lower bound of the range should be because we had no intention of paying the lower part of the range. Lazy on our part, sorry!
For clarity hourly rate will be above £12.35, likely to be closer to £12.50 though.
