On Saturday on Crib Goch/Snowdon/LLiwedd there was plenty of snow about but the freezing level was much higher than forecast, so there was some melting going on at all levels. From pics I've seen it looked like more snow came down over night, it was tipping it down as we drove out of Snowdonia early evening.
Was on Bristly Ridge on Sunday. A layer of powder around, but not consolidated. Crampons stayed in the bag, axe used only as a hand-extender. Usual warnings apply, could be well different when you get up there
