Mallorca Rockfax New Edition in January 2016

We are just putting the finishing touches to the next edition of the Mallorca Rockfax and are aiming to publish it in January 16. This book adds to the previous editions with a whole host of excellent new crags for both the sport climber and the deep water soloist.

On a quick trip in October the Rockfax team were able to drop in on a number of excellent new crags and old areas which have had a facelift. We have included a selection below.

More about the book here.

Sa Mola de Felanitx – This crag appeared in the 2011 edition but only had a round 7 badly bolted old routes. The area has received a complete overhaul and is now home to around 40 routes in the 4 to 6c grade range.

Commune de Caimari – A major addition to the set of crags to the north of Caimari. This wall is significantly more extensive than the established crag Muro de camera which is around 250m further down the road. Excellent routes across the grades from 4 to grade 8’s.

Torre d'en Beu
Torre d’en Beu

Torre d’en Beu – A similar crag to the ever-popular Tijuana that has been well bolted with a great set of routes in a fine position above a rock platform.

S'estret - new sectors
